Corsets

I would LOVE to buy a corset.  Actually, I almost bought on at Crystals adult store this weekend.  I know, quality would not be as good, you could not return, etc etc.  It was half price (only $20) and oh so sexy.  With thigh high stockings and heels, it would definitely be a "come fuck me night".
But it was not to be.  I asked the girl if I could try them (I picked that and a nightie out) to try on in 1X size.  She said the fitting room was closed because of water break.  Well heart breaker.  I didn't get them.

But....while looking thru the forums at Laura's Playground, I stumble across this discussion.  I never thought about getting a tight laced corset.  Way too uncomfortable.  I just want something extremely sexy.  One of the girls posted this option:

Unfortunately I can't post a picture here because Fredericks won't let me copy and paste :o(.

$60 is a lot of money, especially since I can't try it on until I get it.  Why can't they be like Zappos and have free shipping both ways.  Return shipping is $8.

Maybe I should just go to their store in the mall and try one on.  I know I should call before going in.  Most of the time they don't have ANYTHING bigger than a large in the store.  I "kind of" understand, but not much.
I need to open my own store.  We are going to call it TRANSitions Clothing and Accessories.  I will kind of model it after http://www.carlas.com/.  I like the concept.  I don't want an "adult book store".  I want to be able to help other crossdressers and those transitioning.  I want this to be a safe place where you can be the person you feel like inside (or maybe have a chance to find that person so you know for the future).  I need to make a trip to San Jose, CA to get a 1st hand account of this business.

Who's up for a road trip??

Being a tall woman

I have felt self-conscience on being 6'4".  I thought I would really stand out (pun intended) in a crowd.  As I posted on Laura's Playground forum and got some good feedback, shoes are hard to find locally.  I can find them online, but I want to try them on before buying, even if I can send back easily.

The girls on the forum have been helpful especially regarding heels and shoes in general.  I would love some nice heels but after consideration, anything over 2 inch would be bad.

then I found this site called Femulate and a great article on Tall WomenAs it says, we tall women need to enjoy it and relish it. I went through some of the women the site list.  Kerri Walsh looks great and she is 6'4" also.

She is sexy, confident, and best of all......TALL.  I need to embrace my tallness and exude confidence in my femininity.  When en femme, it will show I am really trying :o)

Blessings,

Wish List

I decided I was going to start a wish list for clothing/shoes/toys/wigs/whatever that I want or have been wanting.  This Just like making a grocery list so I don't forget when I go to the store, this will be the way I remember what I want to put on.  Also, I can go back years from now and see how my taste has changed (maybe not too slutty).
So....the item of the day I want to get is this:

OK...mostly just the top.  I have a "to die for" denim skirt that would go great with that top.  Maybe it is a "little" slutty.  I wish I could pull off those heels.  The whole thing is absolutely sexy.  Unfortunately, at 6'4" there is no way I can pull off 3 inch heels. OK, I need to shave my legs and I know I can pull this off (minus the heels).

One more (although I was only planning on one per post.  This is something I want to get very very soon.

I think an XL would fit very nice.  Unfortunately, I don't think the breast forms are included so I would need to get those also.  I might have to go with a "non-TG" corest and hope for the best on size.

Soon, very soon.

Christianity and crossdressing

This is one of many posts.

In this post I want to discuss Christianity and crossdressing.  This is a hard topic for some people, especially those who think crossdressers are all gay, or deranged, or something else.  I’m not going to discuss homosexuality because  that is not what my blog is about (at least I won’t discuss it right now).  So let’s jump right in.
Deuteronomy 22:5 The woman shall not wear that which pertains to a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all that do so are an abomination to the Lord your God.
This verse is in the mosaic law.  This law was written by Moses to bring Israel together and keep them pure in relation to people outside Israel.  Before that verse it says if you see your brother’s donkey and he is not with it, you should take it home and keep it safe.  After that verse about garments, Deuteronomy says if a man marries a woman that is not a virgin, he can go back to the father of the bride and have him stoned.

So the non-biblical part…women wear “men’s” clothes every day and nothing is said about that.  However, when men wear “women’s “ clothing, they are shunned.  Why?  Helen Boyd really said it best in My Husband Betty so I will not rehash it here.  Basically..what’s the big deal.
Even in Iran, men are crossdressing:

So….don’t quote Deuteronomy when bashing crossdressing.  It doesn’t work.   And if you are a married man, look at your wife’s clothing before making comments to crossdressers. And if you are a woman, give the gurl some pointers and go shopping with her.  She will love you for it.

Favorite Nightie

I think every girl should have a favorite nightie.  "Nightie" is kind of a generic term in that I think you should have your favorite to sleep in.
I had to put that disclaimer on because the lingerie industrie has made nighties into sexy, frilly, come take me items.  And while I absolutely love that too (I have a few of them), those are really not comfortable to sleep in.
It reminds me of the bed commercials.  In them, you see women sleeping in long silk night-gowns.  Everything is heaven and nothing could wake them.  Oh, and many of them don't have sheets.  Let's not forget the guys sleeping in full pajamas.  How often has that happened since the '50s.  In actuality, silk is hot to sleep in, doesn't move well with you, and really kind of a pain.

My favorite nightie to sleep in is this black one.

It's light, cotton, a little flirty and comfortable.  I have another blue one I love (B's favorite color right now) that is made from that lycra blend.  It's cooler than cotton.  I would have to say it's my 2nd favorite.

When in "man-mode" I have always slept nude.  I never understood guys that would sleep in pajama pants or boxers.  And there is no way I would sleep in a t-shirt.  When I move just a little, it feels like I am choking :o(.

Now there is rarely a night I don't sleep in one of the two nighties listed above.  They are relaxing and comforting.  That is exactly what you should look for in your "favorite".  One that relaxes you.  When you slip it on, you feel the stress start to fall off.  Like going to mom's house on Thanksgiving when the cooking is 80% done.  You walk in and the smell hits you.  It feels good.

Find your favorite nightie.  You will thank me later.

I Am So Excited!!!

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!!! I am so so so so so so so so so excited.  Can you tell I am excited?  Yes I am excited. Here is how the conversation went:

B: You know I can't keep a secret, right?
Me: Yeah, I know.
B: Well I have something special for Candi for our anniversary.  I am scheduling a make-up makeover for Candi.  It's one of the girls I met at a networking meeting and she is more than happy to do this.
Me: Jaw hits the floor.
B: I'm also looking for someone to take professional pictures of you after the makeover.
Me: Trying to smile, but hard to since chin is literally on the floor.

Yes she does love and accept me and Candi (but I already knew that).  Oh my heart is a flutter.

So many thoughts running through my head....so many things we have to do in the next two months.

* Buy a new outfit
* Buy new shoes (more on this in another post)
* Buy a new wig (I want something more straight than curls)
* Buy lots of batteries for the camera
* Figure out where we are going after the photo shoot (I bet B. has plans running through her head)
* Lose the 15 pounds I'm working on (I WILL do this)
* Mani/Pedi for sure.

I cannot cannot cannot cannot wait for this night.  It is going to be awesome.  We are going to have so much fun.  Oh, and I will give you are the girly details afterwards.
